Mr. Pasteur RUKUNDO is a graduate of the “Institut Technique de Banques” of Paris, France, and holds a Higher Diploma in Banking. He joined ACHEWS as Country Director for Achews Burundi in January 2025. He is currently an Independent Consultant for EURO EXIM BANK, an international financial institution that offers banking instruments for international trade. He has 23 years of banking experience. He was Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Managing Director at Banque Communautaire et Agricole (BCAB s.a) in Burundi and Banque Burundaise pour le Commerce l’Investissement (BBCI sm) respectively for more than 6 years. He also worked at KCB Bank Burundi as Head of Corporate, at ECOBANK Burundi as Local Account Manager, at FINBANK as Management Controller and at Banque de Gestion et de Financement (BGF) as Head Accountant.
